Clemyjontri

So, I don't have kids but if I did I might need to move to McLean, VA just to be near this park. Clemyjontri Park not only encourages outdoor activity for kids but learning as well. It has four "rooms" surrounding a central carousel. Each room focuses on teaching children things such as colors, maps, clocks and reading. It is also fully integrated to not only accommodate, but to encourage children with disabilities to play along side the rest of the kids. All this and it's totally free; a portion of the Fairfax County Parks system. The funds and land were donated by the Lebowitz family who were also major civil rights activists in the 50's. I encourage anyone who lives in the area and has kids or grand kids to take them there (and let me know how much fun it is.)
